Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking an Environmental Manager based in Deepwater, NJ, overseeing environmental programs across three locations. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and lead interactions with regulatory agencies and community groups.

Qualifications

BS in a technical discipline preferably in chemical or environmental engineering, environmental science, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5–7 years of work experience in an environmental capacity within the manufacturing industry.
Strong leadership and ability to drive results in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance and leadership as a site environmental resource.
Lead interaction with regulatory agencies and community groups.
Prepare and manage permit applications and renewals (air, water, waste, CSAPR/NPDES, Title V).
Oversee LDAR programs and greenhouse gas reporting.
Lead environmental audits and investigations to drive improvements.
