Job summary

The Enterprise Risk Analytics (ERA) group at the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York is seeking an Enterprise and Credit Risk Data Analyst who will build and enhance risk reporting, analytics, and data management solutions. This role designs automated reports and dashboards and collaborates with business and technology teams to improve data quality and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, computer science or related field.
• 5+ years in financial services with exposure to risk management, finance, data governance.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to document data processes, reports and governance controls.
• Experience building automated risk reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc risk reports and dashboards for management and regulators.
• Build and maintain automated reporting processes, databases, dashboards, and visualization tools.
• Manage risk data quality by integrating sources and improving data governance.
• Collaborate with business partners, technology teams and vendors to support reporting needs.
• Document data dictionaries, policies, procedures and provide user training.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring industry trends and regulatory developments.
