Ashley Furniture Industries seeks an Enterprise Data Architect to define and evolve the enterprise data models and shared definitions across business domains. You will translate business concepts into reusable data structures, establish domain boundaries, and provide architecture guidance to accelerate trusted decision-making.

In this role you will enable data products, analytics, and AI solutions by embedding enterprise context into delivery workflows and ensuring cross-domain alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise data modeling or architecture.
• Ability to translate business language into precise data definitions.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional alignment with SMEs, engineers, and governance stakeholders.
• Familiarity with metadata management, data catalogs, and data quality concepts.
• Strong written communication and model documentation skills.

• Define and evolve enterprise conceptual and logical data models for key business domains.
• Establish clear representations of entities, relationships, and domain boundaries.
• Provide architectural guidance promoting consistency while supporting autonomy.
• Develop authoritative definitions for cross-domain concepts.

• Support operationalization of data context in catalogs, semantic layers, and data products.
