Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an Enterprise Business Architect to translate enterprise strategy into repeatable EA processes, tools and technologies and to build actionable IT investment roadmaps.

You will partner with senior leadership to map capabilities, value streams and target operating models, while leading workshops across business units to align architecture with IT and drive enterprise-wide transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in business/enterprise architecture, strategy or management consulting.
• Experience with enterprise architecture tools (i.e. ServiceNow, YouDesign, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of business architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK).
• Proven experience developing capability models, value stream maps and target operating models.
• Demonstrated ability to assess capabilities, analyze findings and deliver recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills to assess current-state processes and identify inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to translate business strategy into capability maps, value streams and target operating models.
• Build and maintain enterprise capability models to uncover gaps, redundancies and investment opportunities.
• Analyze current-state business processes and organizational structures to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.
• Provide input into the design of future-state business architectures including process redesign and organizational realignment.
• Lead workshops and interviews with business unit leaders to gather requirements and build consensus.
• Establish and maintain business architecture standards and governance for enterprise-wide consistency.
• Collaborate with Architects to align business architecture with IT architecture and solution design.
• Support investment planning by linking capabilities to strategic initiatives and identifying risks and value drivers.
