Job summary

Chevron Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Architect to translate strategic intent into actionable blueprints and ensure compliance with technical standards and guardrails. You will collaborate with IT and business leaders to guide strategic investments and oversee architecture reviews.

The role focuses on the broad spectrum of processes, systems, and data that enable critical business operations across the enterprise, driving consistency and value across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• 10+ years in technical IT roles, preferably in oil and gas.
• Experience in development and operations, including DevOps.
• Skilled in architecture styles, design patterns and best practices for software development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Convert strategic intent into actionable, cost-efficient, and secure blueprints for delivery.
• Conduct architectural reviews against guidelines and enforce policies for a secure IT landscape.
• Define and communicate the living target architecture, high-level design, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead or participate in architecture runway and ceremonies to ensure consistency across teams.
• Review and improve architectural standards, contributing to guardrails for the enterprise.
• Help leadership define policies, guidelines, and strategies.
