Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define architectural visions for large-scale solutions across business, application, data, and technology domains. You will translate business needs into technical strategies, drive architecture governance, and guide cross-functional teams through complex program initiatives.

The role emphasizes non-functional requirements, security, and scalable design, with collaboration across vendors and stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution, application, data, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience delivering large-scale, complex technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns, and system integration.
• Experience defining target-state architectures, roadmaps, and technology strategies.
• Expertise in security, scalability, performance, reliability, and other non-functional requirements.
• Experience leading architecture reviews, design reviews, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.
• Experience mentoring architects and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of technology risk, compliance, and controls.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Define architectural vision and architecture for large, complex solutions aligned with enterprise architecture strategy.
• Evaluate system impacts and define solution intent and operating environments.
• Support end-to-end solution design and establish non-functional requirements.
• Ensure solutions are fit for purpose through collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
• Contribute to architecture roadmaps across domains in support of product roadmaps.
• Develop and promote architecture best practices and standardized templates.
• Partner across business and technology teams to create solution intent and architectural vision.
• Evolve architecture designs based on emerging requirements and backlog priorities.
• Lead development of flexible, modular high-level architectures.
• Support strategic technology decisions and architecture governance.
