Job summary

Nomad GCS is seeking an Engineering Resource Planning Manager to coordinate engineering resources across multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient utilization. You will forecast needs, assign personnel, balance workloads, and serve as the interface between project demands and discipline capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in engineering project execution, engineering management, project controls, or resource planning.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proficiency with project scheduling and resource management tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term engineering resource plans across all active and proposed projects.
• Coordinate with Discipline Managers to identify and assign qualified engineering personnel based on project requirements, technical expertise, and workload availability.
• Monitor engineering resource utilization and recommend adjustments to optimize productivity and project performance.
• Facilitate prioritization of engineering activities when resource conflicts arise.
• Track engineering staffing requirements and identify future hiring, contractor, or training needs.
• Generate and distribute resource utilization, actual vs planned hours, and engineering progress reports to support decision-making.
