Job summary

Caztek Engineering is seeking aSenior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex government and commercial engineering and manufacturing programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure contract compliance, delivering projects on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate has a broad engineering background, PM expertise, and a proven ability to drive cost control, scheduling, and risk mitigation while aligning with FAR and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years in engineering, engineering management, program management, engineering finance, or project control within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in complex, detail orientated projects.
• Knowledge of indirect labor costing, financial planning, and contract compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word; strong budgeting and cost-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of engineering and manufacturing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring continuous alignment with scope, budget, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with government contract requirements, including design, engineering, documentation, quality, manufacturing and programmatic deliverables.
• Develop systems, policies and procedures to streamline and clarify the project management process throughout the organization.
• Seek out and advocate for programs in alignment with the company’s growing expertise. Advise business development team and take an active role in developing proposals for new programs.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
• Prepare financial reports, analyze indirect labor costs, and ensure compliance with FAR and other government regulations.
• Support cost accounting and reporting for both government and non-government engineering projects.
