Qualifications

• Proven expertise evaluating and recommending data technologies, architectures and integration strategies.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data platforms, cloud and on-premises data solutions and data governance practices.
• Experience advising senior leadership on aligning data strategy with business objectives and technology investments.
• Strategic advisory skills to influence enterprise data investments and technology decisions.
• Advanced technical expertise to define and recommend enterprise data architecture standards.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to guide senior leaders and Data teams effectively.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Provides strategic guidance on emerging data technologies, architecture and investment priorities, counseling data leaders to ensure the data organization delivers scalable, secure and high-quality enterprise data platforms.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Advice on emerging data technologies and trends to guide strategic investment and adoption decisions.
2. Provide recommendations on data architecture standards, design principles, and best practices to ensure scalable, secure and high-quality data platforms.
3. Review data platform designs, roadmaps and major initiatives and provide guidance to align with enterprise priorities.
4. Counsel the VP of Data on project prioritization, risk assessment and technology adoption or decommissioning strategies.
5. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full/part-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.
