Job summary

Puget Sound Energy in Washington state seeks a Senior Energy Program Manager - Communications & Regulatory to bridge Infrastructure Program Management with regulatory, government affairs and communications teams. You will coordinate information requests, craft executive summaries, and shape messaging for external and internal audiences to accurately reflect program progress and investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in project management, engineering, business or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Eight years relevant work experience including managing complex programs or projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience in scheduling, estimating, accounting and finance principles.
• Strong knowledge in project management discipline to effectively arrange resources and manage multiple medium to high complexity projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to remain flexible and adapt to the individual needs of each assigned program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Infrastructure Program Management, Regulatory Affairs, Communications, Government Affairs, and other stakeholder groups.
• Lead coordination of regulatory information requests by identifying impacted programs, engaging responsible program managers, validating responses, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop executive-ready summaries, presentations, briefing materials, and written responses that clearly communicate program status, investment impacts, milestones, risks, and benefits.
• Analyze project and program data from multiple sources and transform technical information into meaningful business insights for internal and external audiences.
• Partner with communications teams to support jurisdictional outreach, community investment messaging, customer communications, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Identify strategic insights, accomplishments, trends, and community impacts that should be highlighted in communications, regulatory proceedings, and executive discussions.
• Maintain visibility across the energy program portfolio to understand key initiatives, commitments, schedules, budgets, and emerging issues.
• Facilitate collaboration among program managers and subject matter experts to develop consistent messaging and accurate reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, information management practices, and response workflows.
• Present findings and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders at varying organizational levels.
• Support emergency response work as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
