Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking a strategic, collaborative Manager, Workplace Solutions Enablement to translate priorities into actionable plans and lead cross-functional initiatives across product, distribution, marketing, and operations.

You will build and guide a small team, set milestones, and communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leaders while delivering measurable business results in a dynamic insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Insurance industry experience with Supplemental Insurance or Group Employee Benefits preferred.
• Experience across multiple components of the insurance value chain (Product, Distribution, Operations, Marketing, Administration, Technology, CX).
• Previous people leadership with responsibility for development, workload, prioritization, and performance.
• Ability to operate autonomously with limited supervision and lead complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, workstreams, and enablement activities.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning product, distribution, go-to-market, and operations.
• Directly lead a team of two, with accountability for performance and development.
• Develop recommendations using market and customer insights and ensure readiness for new initiatives.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and operational impacts early to support decisions.
