Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Cockrell School of Engineering is seeking an ECAC Employer Engagement Senior Manager to expand career opportunities for students and alumni. You will lead engagement with industry partners, guide early-career recruitment, and collaborate across university offices to advance recruitment initiatives.

Lead large employer connections, supervise a relations team, and manage data-driven outcomes while working in a dynamic academic environment on UT's main campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading programs with many stakeholders and complex events.
• Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.
• Experience with career management platforms or ATS.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Attend conferences and professional meetings to build recruiting connections.
• Coordinate employer-led events and outreach campaigns with focus on service and retention.
• Communicate guidelines to ensure compliance with ECAC standards.
• Design outreach to identify new employers and key contacts in target industries.
• Direct large career fairs and manage engagement data and outcomes.
• Represent ECAC and the Cockrell School at events and meetings.
• Serve as liaison to UT offices and departments; advise on recruitment strategy.
• Supervise employer relations team and conduct performance evaluations.
