Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT seeks a creative employee communicator who will lead the SDS division’s internal messaging, advise division leadership, and craft talking points, speeches, and announcements.

You will build and manage internal content, track performance with analytics, coordinate across sectors, and drive engagement through stories, videos, infographics, and intranet updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with substantial communications experience.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities; able to craft messages for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of employee communications strategy for SDS division; inform and inspire employees and support business goals.
• Advise SDS leadership on messaging approach and timing of internal communications.
• Develop executive communications plans and draft talking points, speeches, presentations, and announcements.
• Coordinate SDS division announcements with enterprise standards and governance.
• Align SDS communications with sector strategies; tailor content for division employees and leaders.
• Maintain intranet content, org charts and distribution lists; ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Provide oversight and tracking of leader communications; ensure consistent messaging.
• Plan employee engagement for division leadership and advise on strategies to boost priority initiatives.
• Lead site-level internal communications for assigned locations and hard-to-reach sites.
• Create diverse content (articles, videos, Q&As, infographics) to highlight people, tech and successes.
• Collaborate with sector and enterprise teams to synchronize messaging and measure impact.
