Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Employee Communications Representativ e in McLean, VA to support communications planning, storytelling, and measurement of internal campaigns. The role reports to the Employee Communications Manager and focuses on informing and inspiring employees about business priorities and culture.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft engaging content, manage editorial calendars, and develop communications for senior leaders while measuring impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or related field with minimum 3 years managing communications projects or campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in AP Style and Microsoft Office (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Write, draft, edit and help facilitate design and distribution of internal materials and newsletters.
• Develop, implement and measure internal communications plans that inform and inspire employees and drive business goals.
• Draft talking points, speeches, slides, video scripts and executive summaries for senior leaders.
• Monitor resource mailboxes and ensure inquiries are addressed within one business day.
• Lead piloting and implementation of employee communications measurement tools.
