Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to support employer groups with their benefits programs, renewals, enrollment, compliance, and day-to-day administration. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Texas Life and Health insurance license or ability to obtain and maintain licensure.
• Five or more years of experience supporting employer-sponsored health and welfare benefit programs.
• Strong understanding of group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit offerings.
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.
• Excellent communication, client service, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day service needs for an established portfolio of group benefits clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employer groups, carrier representatives, and vendor partners.
• Prepare benefit comparisons, market analyses, and renewal recommendations to help clients make informed decisions.
• Coordinate benefit plan renewals, including carrier negotiations, plan changes, and implementation activities.
• Oversee annual enrollment projects and ensure timely communication of benefit options to clients and employees.
• Maintain benefit administration systems and enrollment platforms, ensuring plan information and employee records remain accurate.
• Collaborate with payroll, COBRA, and other third‑party vendors to support eligibility and enrollment processes.
• Conduct client and employee benefit presentations through virtual or in‑person meetings.
• Review enrollment data, carrier confirmations, and billing information to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist employees with questions related to eligibility, coverage options, claims concerns, and benefit utilization.
• Support employers with enrollment changes, terminations, billing inquiries, and general account servicing needs.
• Keep current on industry trends, carrier products, and regulatory developments affecting employee benefits.
• Document client interactions, plan updates, and account activity to maintain thorough records and support future planning initiatives.
