This role is located in Austin, TX or Seattle, WA, with travel to multiple sites as needed. The GSM – Electronics will own the lifecycle strategy for PCBA, sensors, connectors, and related mechatronics hardware, collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, SCM, or related field.
• 3+ years direct strategic sourcing or procurement in robotics/high-tech sectors.
• Deep knowledge of PCBA, sensors, connectors and related components.

Responsibilities

• Formulate multi-year sourcing strategies for key electronic commodities.
• Identify, audit and onboard component manufacturers and EMS partners.
• Collaborate with Hardware R&D during early design phases (DFM/DFS).
• Lead negotiations for MPAs, pricing, lead times and terms.
• Drive total cost of ownership reduction and design-for-cost initiatives.
• Monitor market dynamics and develop multi-source mitigation plans.
• Partner with SQE to establish KPIs and conduct QBRs.
