Job summary

Wyoming Machinery Company is seeking an Electrical Procurement Specialist to source and manage electrical components and services, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.

The role requires 5+ years of procurement experience in construction or energy sectors, with forklift operation and strong negotiation skills. You will work with engineering teams to align procurement with project requirements and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical procurement, purchasing, and cost tracking in construction, energy/power, heavy industrial, or EPC environments.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Experience coordinating large electrical construction projects.
• Experience with yard operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and manage procurement of electrical components and services to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Track and monitor inventory purchased, sold, and shipped for Energy Solutions.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts and supplier agreements.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and lead times.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, standards, and regulations.
• Maintain records of inventory needs and supplier performance; monitor procurement budgets.
• Forecast demand with internal teams to prevent stockouts or overstock.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and project management to understand technical requirements.
• Provide regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks and implement procurement strategies to improve efficiency.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize supply chain processes.
