Job summary

SOSI is seeking an Effects Planner to coordinate all aspects of operational-level planning, synchronization, and integration. The role supports analytics, assessments, target development, and planning advocacy for subordinate commands.

The planner will lead cross-functional teams, deconflict resources, and develop measures of performance and effectiveness. This position requires SES-level briefing and staff support, in line with national strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly.
• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Government, International Affairs or closely related discipline; War College graduate or Bachelor’s with 5+ years senior-level experience; or 15 years military planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional planning teams to synchronize effects into an operational plan.
• Coordinate working groups to deconflict resources, timing, and objectives.
• Identify vulnerabilities and nodes within target systems to achieve effects.
• Develop MOPs and MOEs to assess operation performance.
• Lead target development aligned with overall campaign plan.
• Analyze operation results and provide leadership assessments.
