Job summary

Leidos in McLean, Virginia seeks a Project Manager to oversee delivery of education and training products for the Intelligence Community. You will lead day-to-day work of Instructional Designers and multimedia developers to ensure timely, high-quality outputs.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to balance competing priorities across stakeholders, with a focus on governance, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or master's with 2+ years.
• Proven track record delivering streamlined, fast-track projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills with peers, supervisors and clients.
• Preferred PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Draft and own delivery project plans (timeline, scope of work, staff plan).
• Manage schedules and milestones.
• Ensure high quality delivery process and execution.
• Identify project management/workflow system with data entry, reporting, and analysis (e.g., capacity plans, resourcing).
• Develop governance plans, SOPs, and charters.
• Develop and maintain a communication plan on each project.
• Conduct basic risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrate collaboration to ensure quality and adherence to production guidelines.
• Manage a team’s performance through coaching and evaluations.
• Develop and maintain high levels of team effectiveness (trust, communication, collaboration, productivity, diversity, engagement).
• Ensure team is effectively collaborating and communicating across team, to management, and stakeholders.
• Navigate teams with conflicting priorities.
• Mobilize and drive the integrated team towards progress, action, and results.
• Conduct internal/external post mortems to identify improvements.
