You will collaborate across Refining, Olefins, Chemicals, Supply & Trading, and corporate stakeholders to identify opportunities and support long-term decision making. This role offers challenging, rewarding careers with global exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or related discipline with solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledgeable of refinery/chemicals plant operations and product economics; 6–15 years site experience.
• Experience with Aspen Unified Planning, Aspen PIMS, or equivalent economic LP modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Provide economic operating signals for Baytown area and optimize integrated manufacturing operations.
• Identify, evaluate, and drive near-term business opportunities; communicate longer-term risks and strategic challenges.
• Collaborate with Refining, Olefins, Chemical Plants, and business stakeholders to align economic strategies and model optimization.
• Complete monthly 90-Day Run Plan assessments highlighting profitability drivers and key focus areas.
• Generate economic and PIMS analyses to support turnarounds, major projects, capacity reviews, and investments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to strengthen economics capabilities across the organization.
