Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate operational and economic tradeoffs.
• Ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and develop recommendations that improve profitability and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Support Baytown area production planning and optimization activities through economic analysis, operating signal development, and coordination.
• Work with coordinators to schedule operating targets, product dispositions, quality specifications, and unit rate recommendations.
• Analyze weekly market conditions, feedstock economics, product values, and site constraints to provide actionable business recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations Teams, Process Engineering, and Supply organizations to identify and capture economic opportunities.
• Participate in strategic improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects focused on optimization and value creation.
• Support weekly run plan development, coordination activities, and communication of economic operating signals across the site.
• Monitor site performance against plan and investigate deviations to improve execution and profitability.
