Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, marketing, public relations, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years in nonprofit development, fundraising, grant management, donor relations, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with CRM systems, donor databases, grant management systems, or similar technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and related applications.
• Experience with donor management databases such as Blackbaud/ Raiser’s Edge preferred
• Commitment to the mission and core values of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cultivation and stewardship of major donors, with personalized engagement and communications.
• Collaborate to develop donor stewardship strategies and plans for key donors.
• Coordinate donor visit follow-up and communication among fundraising staff.
• Draft, edit, and review grant proposals, applications, letters of inquiry, reports, and funder updates.
• Gather information and outcomes for proposals and reports with program, finance, and fundraising staff.
• Identify fundable projects and align them with organizational priorities.
• Monitor grant requirements, deliverables, and reporting obligations to ensure compliance.
• Maintain organized grant files and CRM records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
