Job summary

United Way of Anchorage is seeking an Individual Donor Engagement Officer to join our Anchorage team. The role supports donor relationships, stewardship, and campaign activities under the Vice President of Development.

You will maintain donor portfolios, draft communications, plan cultivation events, and assist with annual giving strategies, data entry in Andar CRM, and cross-functional collaboration across the Development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, sales, customer relations, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Andar (CRM) or a comparable donor database, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a portfolio of individual and leadership level donors and track contacts and next steps.
• Coordinate cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities with the VP of Development.
• Draft donor correspondence and stewardship materials for review.
• Plan and execute donor cultivation and recognition events.
