Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a Dispatcher to oversee shipment schedules, dispatch drivers, plan routes, and provide rate quotes while upholding high levels of customer service. This on-site role operates 7:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday and requires coordinating with drivers and suppliers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, dispatcher or driver experience, knowledge of FMCSR/DOT regulations, and strong communication skills; bilingual

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in terminal operations, dispatch, or driver support preferred.
• Knowledge of FMCSR and DOT regulations.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to deliver and pick up materials.
• Provide drivers with information for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Coordinate with drivers to resolve issues that arise during delivery or pickup.
• Monitor routes and truck statuses to optimize scheduling.
• Communicate with suppliers about driver schedules and route changes.
• Maintains knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations including FMCSR and DOT, and company policies.
• Provide management with timely communication of events and reporting.
