Job summary

Broward College is seeking a Senior Director, Procurement Contracts to lead large and complex acquisition projects, contract management, and negotiations. You will draft, review, and negotiate college-wide solicitations and agreements, overseeing a broad portfolio of contracts with internal departments and external partners.

The role requires extensive knowledge of public procurement laws, risk management, and strategic vendor relations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business, Law, Public Admin or related field.
• Eight+ years in large-scale procurements, negotiations, and contracts; government or higher ed preferred.
• CPPB/CPPO/CPM certifications preferred; uncertified may be required to obtain within two years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and management of formal competitive solicitations for complex acquisitions.
• Negotiate collegewide and department contracts in compliance with laws and policies.
• Act as primary contract administrator for contracts, amendments, renewals, and performance management.
• Prepare contracts and documents for award recommendations up to President/Board approval.
• Establish priorities and coordinate communications with vendors and staff.
• Maintain Procurement Contract Database and prepare required reports.
• Monitor market conditions to ensure best value and resolve disputes.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement in operations and service quality.
