Job summary

J.C. Cannistraro, LLC is seeking a strategic Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement, sourcing, warehouse operations, tool management, and inventory control. The role partners with Operations, Project Management, Fabrication, and Field leadership to improve processes and drive growth.

You will oversee relationships with suppliers, implement a new purchasing platform, and build a scalable supply chain to support ongoing projects and future expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 10+ years in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations with direct leadership.
• Experience in construction, fabrication, or industrial operations is a plus.
• Strong budgeting, cost control, and supplier relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy, department budget, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead procurement and strategic sourcing for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and reliable delivery.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, manage vendor performance, monitor market trends, and leverage partnerships.
• Lead the selection and implementation of a new purchasing platform with IT, Accounting, and Operations.
• Oversee warehouse, tool room, inventory, and logistics operations to minimize shortages and costs.
• Manage tool and equipment lifecycles, including acquisition, utilization, maintenance, repair, and replacement.
• Establish performance metrics and reporting to monitor costs, inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and on-time delivery.
• Forecast demand in collaboration with cross-functional teams and resolve supply chain issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with clear expectations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, safety requirements, and sourcing standards.
