Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking a Director for Quality Management and Infection Control. The role leads quality improvement initiatives, monitors outcomes, and partners with UF Health Directors of Quality to standardize processes across the enterprise.

The position requires a graduate degree or a bachelor's with plans for a master's, plus clinical healthcare experience and preferred Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and CPHQ certification. Strong data skills and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Clinical healthcare experience required.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality performance improvement activities across UF Health Leesburg Hospital to meet performance goals.
• Monitor quality outcomes for the campus and report to the Executive Team as needed.
• Collaborate with UF Health Directors of Quality across the Enterprise for standardization of processes.
• Attend and participate in Department/Division Meetings and Quality Committees.
• Work with the Manager of Accreditation and Patient Safety to ensure survey readiness.
• Participate in Physician Peer Review as needed.
• Oversee Infection Control team and ensure adherence to IC standards.
