Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, public policy, or related field.
• Nine years progressive experience in public policy, government affairs, or related field.
• Four years as a people manager with direct day-to-day oversight.

Aufgaben

• Lead the GCA team in local, regional, state and federal engagement including legislative advocacy and policy development.
• Advise the CEO, Board of Directors, Executive Team, and internal departments on community responsiveness and political implications.
• Direct robust communications and engagement with San Mateo communities and stakeholders for planning and capital projects.
• Manage agency relationships with schools, youth organizations and CBOs.
• Liaise with political representatives and advocacy groups at multiple levels.
