Job summary

Caltech seeks a Director of Finance and Facilities to lead budgeting, accounting, procurement, contracts, and facilities management for the Advancement and Alumni Relations division. Reporting to the VP of AAR, you will drive financial strategy, ensure compliance, and optimize operations across multiple campuses and partners.

• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Five+ years in financial, administrative or related roles with budgeting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls; familiarity with institutional finances.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting for AAR and related entities.
• Lead procurement, contracts, and vendor management with emphasis on compliance.
• Manage facilities budgeting, space planning, and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with HR and leadership on compensation projections and payroll liaison duties.
