Marion P. Thomas Charter School seeks a Director of Academic Operations to design, implement, and manage core systems supporting instructional quality across the district.

This role owns professional development, assessments, observation, scheduling, and grants/compliance, ensuring systems are clearly defined, consistently executed, and measurable in impact. You will partner with leaders to keep schools aligned and operating smoothly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of successful experience in education, including instructional leadership roles.
• Strong accountability, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to own and optimize district operations and systems.

Responsabilités

• Design a year-long professional development scope and sequence aligned to instructional priorities.
• Develop a professional development budget to ensure accurate spending.
• Build differentiated PD plans for new teachers, returning teachers, and leaders.
• Lead assessment calendar, testing logistics, and data use protocols.
