Job summary

SCAN is seeking a Director of Market Performance to lead the provider performance management framework across the enterprise, collaborating with market leaders, analytics, and technology teams to define KPIs and drive improvement across quality, access, and affordability.

The Director will champion scalable performance programs, governance, and provider engagement strategies, guiding change and training across markets while leveraging AI-enabled solutions to transform operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Graduate or advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in provider performance, health plan ops, or related areas.
• Leadership experience developing enterprise programs and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of health plan operations and value-based care.
• Ability to translate data into actionable strategies and executive reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Promotes innovation including AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide provider performance playbooks and standards.
• Define and monitor KPIs across quality, cost, growth, and member experience.
• Design scalable methods to identify opportunities and measure improvements.
• Translate analytics into provider interventions to improve outcomes and Stars performance.
• Create standardized tools, dashboards, and training content for engagement.
• Establish governance to monitor trends and actions across markets.
• Lead initiatives impacting provider performance including onboarding and audits.
• Drive AI-enabled process improvements and technology-enabled transformations.
• Lead change management and adoption of new engagement standards.
