Director of Insurance Finance & Risk Accounting

RSP Group is partnered with a global construction organization ($15B+ revenue) seeking a highly specialized leader to help architect and modernize their insurance finance and risk accounting function.

This is not a traditional risk management role.

My client is seeking someone who can bridge Corporate Finance, Insurance, Captive Strategy, RMIS Reporting, and Construction Risk to improve financial visibility, reporting sophistication, forecasting capability, and enterprise-wide insurance analytics.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise across:

• TCOR reporting and executive-level insurance analytics

• Single-parent captive structures and alternative risk financing

• Construction insurance programs (GL, WC, Auto, Builders Risk, Professional Liability, CCIPs, SDIs)

• Insurance accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting

• RMIS systems (Riskonnect preferred) and reporting automation

• Actuarial reporting interpretation and collateral analysis

• Process transformation and data/reporting modernization

This individual will act as a strategic partner to executive leadership while also being hands-on in improving reporting structures, financial processes, and insurance data visibility across the enterprise.

Ideal backgrounds may include:

• Construction-focused insurance advisory or brokerage firms

• Enterprise captive/risk financing leadership environments

• Finance/accounting leaders with deep insurance and construction exposure

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA, Master of Finance, CPA, CPCU, ARM or similar credentials strongly preferred

• Experience building TCOR reporting and financial dashboards

• Strong understanding of how construction insurance programs behave financially

• Experience leading process improvement and automation initiatives
