Job summary

Denver Health is seeking a mission-driven Senior Director, Planning, Design & Construction to lead the Division of Planning, Design and Construction. You will guide strategic capital planning, oversee project planning, design, construction, commissioning and occupancy, and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and patient safety priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience directing complex planning, design and construction programs.
• Strong leadership for cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of healthcare facilities, capital planning and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, financial and operational direction of the Division of Planning, Design and Construction.
• Oversee planning, design, construction and occupancy phases of capital projects.
• Ensure budgets are met and value is realized in processes and standard work.
• Maintain patient safety, accessibility and patient flow during construction.
• Coordinate with departments to review changes and optimize resources.
