Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Program Director of Government Relations to guide policy strategy and advocacy across local, state, and federal levels. You will shape the organization’s agenda, coordinate with senior leaders, and monitor legislation impacting the health system.

You will build strategic relationships with policymakers, monitor evolving public policy, and lead outreach and lobbying efforts while collaborating with multiple departments. Travel to offices and events may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in Public Policy, Political Science, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Certification: Registered lobbyist preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years in government relations; 2+ years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Directs Endeavor Health’s Government Relations efforts and monitors key legislative issues affecting the system.
• Develops and advances annual advocacy agenda in collaboration with System Director and hospital leadership.
• Advocates or lobbies elected officials and participates in events hosted by local officials; ensures compliance with laws.
• Attends advocacy meetings, prepares briefing materials for executives, and coordinates meetings with officials.
