Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Direct Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide sourcing for direct materials, components, raw materials, contract manufacturing, finished goods, and packaging. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Product Management, and Finance to ensure reliable supply and sustainable growth.

The role emphasizes strategy, supplier relationships, risk management, and cost optimization within a healthcare products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years progressive procurement and category management experience.
• 5+ years leadership experience managing procurement teams.
• Experience with direct materials procurement in healthcare preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supplier risk management and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term direct procurement and category strategies.
• Align procurement with operations, quality, regulatory and finance.
• Lead strategic planning for raw materials and contract manufacturing.
• Establish sourcing strategies for supply security and cost competitiveness.
• Lead supplier governance and executive reviews with key suppliers.
• Ensure supplier quality, regulatory compliance and corrective actions.
• Drive cost optimization and value creation through negotiations and analytics.
