Job summary

Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business seeks a strategic Director of Corporate Partnerships to enhance external engagement and fundraising aligned with our educational and research mission. You will manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation relationships, coordinate cross-unit engagement, and secure priority collaborations across the university.

Reporting to the Associate Dean of Tepper Advancement, this role collaborates with the Masters Career Center, Center for Business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5–8 years of experience in corporate relations, fundraising, business development, sales, or market-facing roles (higher education or business school experience preferred).
Demonstrated success managing complex external partnerships and achieving measurable outcomes.
Experience working at the intersection of corporate engagement, career services, or academic programs is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a front door for corporate engagement and connect partners to relevant opportunities across the school and university.
Grow, develop, and manage a portfolio of 30+ corporate partners and 10+ foundation relationships.
Partner with internal stakeholders to create coordinated engagement plans for key corporate partners, integrating giving, recruiting, and programmatic involvement.
Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and impact reports tailored to corporate and foundation audiences.
