University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking a Director of Custodial Services to lead custodial operations across the campus. You will drive strategic initiatives, workforce planning, budget management, and service excellence to support the university’s mission.

You will oversee supervisors, partner with campus leaders, and champion safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement. This role is based on-site in Colorado Springs and offers comprehensive benefits and professional

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or related field.
Progressively responsible facilities or custodial management experience.
Experience leading large custodial operations in complex environments.
Ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for custodial services and develop long-term plans.
Direct custodial supervisors and oversee workforce development and KPIs.
Develop budgets, allocate resources, and optimize service delivery within budget.
Collaborate with campus leaders and external partners on major events and initiatives.
Lead quality assurance programs, sustainability efforts, and performance benchmarking.
Oversee CMMS implementation and analytics, and drive technology-enabled improvements.
