Job summary

Centier Bank seeks a Director of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending to lead strategic portfolio growth and risk management. The role partners with the Head of Community Banking and Market Presidents to drive disciplined results across markets.

Responsibilities include underwriting quality, relationship-based growth, and cross-functional alignment with Treasury, Retail, Wealth, and Operations, with location to be determined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required.
• MBA or graduate banking degree preferred.
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in C&I lending with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the C&I lending strategy aligned with growth, profitability and risk objectives.
• Identify marketspecific opportunities and set production goals with Market Presidents.
• Advance relationship-based banking to deepen client engagement and cross-sell.
• Ensure sound underwriting and proactive risk management across portfolios.
