Job summary

Centier Bank is seeking a Director of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending to provide strategic leadership across markets and to drive disciplined portfolio growth with strong credit quality.

The role partners with senior leaders across Treasury, Retail, Wealth Management and Operations to deliver integrated financial solutions while maintaining relationship-based client strategies. This position emphasizes leadership, risk management and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• MBA or Graduate Banking Degree preferred.
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in C&I lending, including leadership of multi-market teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the C&I lending strategy aligned with growth, profitability, and risk objectives.
• Partner with Market Presidents to identify marketspecific opportunities and set production goals.
• Advance relationship-based banking strategies that deepen client engagement and drive multi-product client relationships.
• Monitor portfolio performance, diversification, and concentration limits.
• Ensure sound underwriting, risk management, and regulatory compliance across C&I lending.
