Job summary

The College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University Health Science Center in Dallas seeks an Advanced Education Program Director to lead graduate and advanced education programs within the Office of Academic Affairs.

The Director provides strategic and operational leadership for graduate programs, oversees curriculum, accreditation tasks, international student services liaison, and faculty governance, and partners with senior leaders to advance student success and program excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent education/experience.
• Ten years of related experience in program management, higher education, academic affairs or related area.
• Experience in higher education, preferably healthcare, and international student services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Graduate program administration and curriculum oversight as approved by the Graduate Education Council.
• Develops strategic plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures for graduate programs.
• Provides training to students, program directors and staff as necessary.
• Coordinates graduate faculty nominations and the review/approval process by the Credentials Committee.
• Oversees graduate student orientation and tracks progress from matriculation to graduation.
• Manages international student services coordination and visa sponsorship processes.
