Job summary

Texas A&M University College of Dentistry is inviting applications for a full-time tenured position with a 9- or 11-month faculty appointment and an administrative Associate Dean for Research role. The anticipated start date is June 1, 2027, with duties spanning research, service, and teaching at multiple levels.

The Associate Dean will lead research programs, collaborate with faculty and leadership, and ensure resources to support nationally recognized initiatives.

Qualifications

• Outstanding leadership and communication skills demonstrated at a senior academic level.
• Proven research background with national recognition and funded projects.
• Experience evaluating and enhancing research programs with faculty and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead research priorities, investments, Infrastructure needs and policy guidance.
• Advise the Dean and College leadership on performance metrics and opportunities.
• Provide executive-level guidance across department, college and university levels.
