Job summary

Flex, a leading diversified manufacturing partner, is looking for a Buyer Direct in Austin, TX. You will coordinate procurement of direct materials, parts and equipment to support production schedules.

The role reports to the Purchasing Manager Direct and requires Excel proficiency, and experience with SAP or Oracle. Bachelor's degree and 4 years in procurement are preferred; customer-facing communication is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of Buyer and Procurement experience.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relations with suppliers and coordinate orders.
• Place and modify orders according to production plans.
• Track shipments and manage inventory levels.
• Produce and maintain procurement records and reports.
