Job summary

Citi in Irving, Texas is seeking a Digital Software Engineering Lead to drive large-scale software initiatives and serve as a technical authority across the business. You will guide architecture, mentor SDEs, and collaborate with TPMs and engineering managers to manage risk and delivery.

The role requires deep knowledge of application development, cloud platforms, and enterprise patterns, with strong communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role or senior level experience in an Enterprise Architecture role.
• Exhibit expertise across technology patterns and techniques as they apply to Citi’s platforms (cloud, NGA, etc.).
• Demonstrate knowledge of automating code quality, performance, and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute and drive results on large-scale efforts and act as development lead for medium to large projects.
• Understand client core business functions and incorporate user requirements into system design.
• Identify and communicate technical and business risks to stakeholders clearly.
• Mentor SDEs and guide teams on architecturally significant efforts.
• Participate in preplanning to align with roadmaps and design patterns.
• Drive design reviews and code reviews for NGA and POR projects, promoting best practices.
