Job summary

YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee is seeking an Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of signature fundraising events. The role includes managing budgets, donor data, and coordinating with organizational leadership to integrate events into broader donor strategies. Strong data management and communication skills are essential.

The role focuses on engaging donors, volunteers, and partners, with travel and flexible hours to support events across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of related experience.
• Experience with a database program; Raiser's Edge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning and logistical execution of YWCA’s signature fundraising events.
• Manages event budgets, sponsorship revenue, ticket sales and other revenue streams.
• Tracks revenue and expenses and generates post‑event reports.
• Coordinates with leadership to provide donor activity data for reporting and tracking.
• Maintains donor records and supports donor communications and acknowledgements.
• Promotes events through PR, print and digital media partners.
