Job summary

Clemson University is seeking a Senior Director of Development & Team Lead for the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business within the Advancement Division.

The role reports to the Executive Director of Development and drives major gift fundraising across the college while nurturing key donor relationships. The position leads a team of development officers, develops strategic fundraising plans, and collaborates with college leadership to align with institutional priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of fundraising, development, or alumni engagement experience.
• Higher-education or complex non-profit fundraising with ability to close six and seven figure gifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a portfolio of donors and drives major gift fundraising goals (minimum $5M annually).
• Leads and develops a team of development officers and support staff.
• Collaborates with college leadership and Advancement division to advance philanthropic priorities.
• Serves as primary liaison between the College and the Advancement division to foster collaboration.
