Job summary

Elevate Youth seeks a Development Director to lead fundraising, communications, and community engagement. Working with the Executive Director and Board, you will develop a diversified development program to secure major gifts and increase donor partnerships while shaping strategic messaging for external visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) or more years of progressive fundraising and development experience with a demonstrated track record of success.
• Proven experience soliciting and securing major gifts of $10,000 or more.
• Experience developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, including annual giving, major gifts, grants, corporate giving, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive annual development plan to meet or exceed fundraising goals.
• Leads donor engagement and community outreach across year-round fundraising initiatives.
• Builds and refines donor databases and messaging systems for targeted outreach.
• Crafts and monitors a communications plan to increase visibility and engagement across audiences.
• Oversees fundraising performance metrics and reporting to guide decisions.
