Job summary

LET’S GO Boys & Girls (LET’S GO) in the DC metro area is seeking a Director of Development to join our leadership team and drive revenue growth. You will lead the annual development plan, manage grant writing, and steward foundations, corporations, and donors to support program growth and impact.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will oversee fundraising operations, collaborate with the Board, and align strategies with LET’S GO’s mission to expand high‑quality STEM education for urban

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree and 6–8 years of nonprofit development experience.
• Hands-on practice at institutional giving/grant writing, major gifts, and annual giving.
• Experience with development operations, CRM management, and reporting.
• Ability to work with volunteers, contractors, and partners with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Lead development strategy and serve on leadership team to hit revenue goals.
• Manage grant writing, reporting, and foundation/corporate relations.
• Cultivate and solicit individual donors, major gifts, and campaigns.
• Oversee fundraising operations, dashboards, and donor records in CRM.
• Collaborate with board and volunteers to expand fundraising impact.
