Job summary

The Indiana University Foundation is seeking an Executive Director of Development to partner with the Dean of the IU School of Education, shape philanthropic strategy, and secure transformational support for priorities including a new Center for Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship and cross-campus initiatives at IU.

You will lead a high-performing team, cultivate relationships with alumni, volunteers, faculty, and leaders, and scale innovative fundraising models.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.
• Four or more years of progressive leadership and people management experience.
• Experience securing major and principal gifts.
• Experience leading fundraising strategies in a large, matrixed organization.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategy and major gifts initiatives for IU School of Education.
• Build partnerships across campuses, schools, and units.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing advancement team.
• Cultivate transformational relationships with alumni, volunteers, faculty, and leaders.
