North Country Healthcare is seeking a Strategic Communications & Development Specialist to support donor and community engagement activities, advancing partnerships and initiatives in the White Mountains Region. The role emphasizes stewardship logistics and content gathering from community-facing work.

The position provides operational support to strengthen philanthropic support, partnership visibility, and community connection within a nonprofit healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in communications or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 1+ year in development support, community engagement, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with donor relations, sponsorship support, or community-facing work preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support donor and community engagement activities.
• Coordinate outreach tied to campaigns, events, partnerships, and initiatives.
• Assist with stewardship, engagement logistics, and relationship continuity.
• Support content gathering from community-facing work, including stories and partner insights.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach and follow-up activity.
• Assist with donor, sponsor, and community partner communications.
• Promote awareness of NCH mission through community-facing work.
