Job summary

Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School seeks a Director of Development and Communications to lead all philanthropic activities, donor relations, grant writing, and marketing. The position reports to the President and supervises Data & Donor Relations Manager, Marketing and Communications Specialist, and grant staff.

The role drives fundraising, events, foundation partnerships, and communications to advance the school’s mission and student opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience in advancement and donor relations.
• Grant writing experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Raiser's Edge software.
• Ability to build relationships with donors and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all fundraising functions and meet annual financial goals.
• Cultivate and steward donor relationships and corporate/foundation partners.
• Direct marketing and communications for the school.
• Plan and manage fundraising events and campaigns.
• Lead grant applications, reporting, and foundation relationships.
• Collaborate with board and leadership on advancement strategy and staffing.
